Gwen K. Smith Endowed Scholarship Fund in Dance Education (SS6287)

The Gwen K. Smith Endowed Scholarship Fund in Dance Education requires awards scholarships to students pursuing a BFA in Dance with a single teaching certification or a BFA in Dance with two teaching certifications. Applicant must be presently enrolled full-time as a junior or senior at Texas State University – San Marcos with at least 15 hours of coursework from Texas State University, have a 3.0 overall GPA and should have taken at least one of the required Curriculum and Instruction courses. Students must reapply for the scholarship every year with renewal based on academic achievement and merit. To be considered for renewal, the student must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
