The Kenneth D. Lynn Scholarship (SL0036)

Mr. Kenneth D. Lynn from his estate gave a gift of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) to award a scholarship to a student enrolled at Texas State University. He was an alum that attended then Southwest Texas State University and received a degree in Industrial Arts. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve was an educator for 30 years at John Jay High School teaching welding to young adults and older adults. He volunteered in many organizations with his wife of 34 years and was a wonderful and caring individual. The following are the terms and conditions for the establishment of the fund:

  • Overall GPA of 2.50 or above
  • Must be minor in Art and major in Engineering Technology
  • Must have completed 60 hours
  • Should need financial aid. .
