Evelyn Hearn Endowed Fund (SH6103)

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Dr. Evelyn L. Hearn, who spent most of her professional career at Texas State University.
This scholarship will help subsidize travel expenses to permit students to attend a professional meeting.
Recipients must demonstrate potential for professional leadership through involvement in student organizations, especially AHEA, Phi U, and CIA.
Recipients must be pursuing a degree in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences, preferably with a major in Consumer Sciences.
Recipients must be enrolled full-time (12 hours or more), in good standing with the University both at the time of selection and during the semester in which the funds are awarded.
Selection will be based on demonstrated professional involvement with consideration for GPA and/or financial need.
