Charles R. Bracy CPA Memorial Scholarship in Accounting (SB6038)

The Charles R. Bracy C.P.A. Memorial Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a McCoy College undergraduate student based upon the following criteria:

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting
• Must be enrolled full-time; 12 hours minimum
• Must have completed Intermediate Accounting I
• Must be an active member in one of the following organizations:
  – Texas State Accounting Club
  – Beta Alpha Psi
  – Tau Alpha Chi
  – National Association of Black Accountants
  – National Association of Accountants
• In good standing with the university
• Recipient should have a commitment to student body diversity, focusing on historically underserved populations
• If more than one recipient meets criteria, the following should be deciding factors:
  – Financial Need
  – Outside employment
  – Extra-curricular activities
