Shadae Dixon Memorial Geography Endowed Scholarship (SD0020)

The Shadae Dixon Memorial Geography Endowed Scholarship will honor the memory of Shadae Dixon, a young, vibrant, and talented PhD student who died unexpectedly at age 28.

Scholarships will be awarded each spring pending available funding and applied to the following fall.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Recipient will be a graduate student in Geography (either Master’s or Doctoral) in their first or second year of study
• Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Demonstrate excellence in coursework, teaching, and/or research
• Preference will be given to students from historically underrepresented groups
