Graves T. Owen, MD Endowed Research Scholarship (SO0010)

Distributions from the endowment shall be used to award scholarships or stipends to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the College of Science and Engineering, majoring in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, and performing enhanced, lab-based novel research.

Recipients must meet the following criteria:

• Recipient(s) must be majoring in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry;
• Recipient(s) must demonstrate academic excellence;
• Recipient(s) must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher;
• Undergraduate recipient(s) must be at least in their sophomore year;
• Graduate recipient(s) must be in good academic standing in the Graduate College;
• Preference for undergraduate recipients until the endowment can support multiple students.
