Jose M Mayorga Scholarship in Computer Science and Biology (SM0092)
The José M. Mayorga Scholarship in Computer Science and Biology established through the generosity of Rosa Ambriz, is intended to support undergraduate students at Texas State University pursuing degrees in Computer Science or Biology. The scholarship provides up to $1,500 each fall and spring semester (totaling up to $3,000 annually) for 5 years.
- The applicants must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Texas State University
- The applicants must be pursuing a major in either Computer Science or Biology
- All applicants are required to submit an essay (no more than 500 words) describing a time they were helped by someone and how it impacted their life.
The scholarship may be awarded to any student who meets the above criteria. Recipients should address their thank-you letters to Rosa Ambriz should they be selected for this award.
