The student experience outside of the classroom is essential for an enriching and successful college experience. First-Generation Initiatives seeks to support students’ development of highly sought-after academic and professional skills that include adaptability, communication, self-awareness, and confidence. The development of these skills often impact students academic performance, retention, and future opportunities for career success. To support first-generation students in funding co-curricular activities, the First-Generation Initiatives team is offering the First-Gen Student Academic Experience Grant.
