Dr. Joe Walker Technology Scholarship (SW6327)

Introduction:
The Dr. Joe Walker Educational Grant is awarded to outstanding juniors or seniors and is available to all Engineering Technology Department majors including Concrete Industry Management, Construction Science and Management, Engineering Technology, or Technology Management. This grant is awarded annually. The award is given primarily for scholarship, with financial need and departmental activity being secondary.

Background:
This endowed scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Joe E. Walker, a long-time faculty member in the Department of Engineering Technology.

Basic Qualifications:

• TX State GPA of 2.50 or above
• Major GPA of 3.00 or above
• Major in the Engineering Technology Department
• Must have completed 45 credit hours, 15 hours must have been completed at Texas State
