AFROTC Adamson Endowment (SA6618)
Elizabeth Adamson established a permanent endowment for Texas State University in 1986. The intention is to provide monetary assistance to ROTC students who are children of active duty or retired US Air Force or US Army personnel. William W. Adamson was a Chief Master Sergeant USAF (Ret) and his wife Elizabeth, was the daughter of Robert Weird, a US Army Master Sergeant, 5th Calvary. After retirement, Mr. Adamson obtained two degrees from then Southwest Texas State University. A BBA in 1974 and an MBA in 1975.
- Students must be AFROTC Cadets, in good standing, full time enrollment.
- Students MUST be children of active or retired (not separated) US Air Force or US Army personnel. Must provide name/status/service branch/rank in application.
- Recipients may be receiving the GI Bill/Hazelwood.
- Students must reapply each Fall/Spring term for consideration.
- Students must maintain a 2.5 CGPA and a 3.0 GPA in AFROTC courses to receive subsequent award.

- To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be an AFROTC Cadet in good standing
Enroll full time (at least 12 credit hours) during the semester(s) in which the scholarship is received.
