George "Buddy" Minear Scholarship (SM6580)

The George “Buddy” Minear Scholarship is a one-time award for incoming freshman undergraduate students with outstanding academic credentials. This scholarship is a highly competitive award.

Acceptance deadline for this award is May 19th, 2025

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:

• Incoming freshman, enrolled full time
• Graduated from Shiner High School OR graduated from Shiner ISD in Shiner, TX, OR is a resident of Lavaca County
