San Antonio Livestock Exposition Scholarship (Partnership)

Prior to applying for this scholarship, you should read below to ensure you meet all requirements, the county preference is not required.

This external scholarship opportunity is a partnership between the San Antonio Livestock Exposition and the Department of Agricultural Sciences for freshman students enrolled full-time at Texas State University. Recipients of this scholarship must meet the following requirements:

  • Students who graduated high school on or after May 2024
  • Enrolled full-time (12 hours or more) with a minimum of one agriculture class each semester
  • Majoring in Agricultural Sciences
  • U.S. citizen
  • Texas resident
  • Graduated from a Texas high school
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 Texas State GPA
  • Preference for recipients to be residents from either Bexar, Kendall, Comal, Guadalupe, Wilson, Atascosa, Frio, Medina or Bandera county.

Scholarship is renewable up to 3 additional years if maintaining a minimum of 2.5 Texas State GPA each semester and continuous full-time enrollment in an agriculture major. Funds are disbursed after 12th class day of each semester.
