Richard A. Castro Endowment (SC5509)

The Richard A. Castro endowment will award scholarships to undergraduate students attending Texas State University and enrolled full-time in one of the programs in the College of Liberal Arts. The donor prefers that the initial award be given to an incoming freshman from El Paso, Del Rio, Corpus Christi, or the lower Rio Grande Valley, and shall be renewable for up to four years. Incoming freshmen must have graduated in the top 25 of their class, demonstrate financial need, and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA for continuation of the scholarship.
