Betty A. Luxton Endowed Scholarship in Development Foundation (SL0009)

Betty A. and Jesse C. Luxton established the $3000 Betty A. Luxton Endowed Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Recipients will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Undergraduate students enrolled as a major in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences
• Texas Resident
• Completion of at least 12 college credit hours
• A grade point average of 2.75 or above
• Degree of financial need.

A recipient will be given preference to renew the scholarship if he or she meets the following criteria for up to 3 years:

• Undergraduate students enrolled as a major in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences
• Texas Resident
• Completion of at least 24 college credit hours
• A grade point average of 2.75 or above
• Continued financial need
