Otis G. Reese Scholarship (SR6255)

The Otis G. Reese Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a McCoy College undergraduate student based upon the following criteria:

• Student must be classified as a junior or senior
• Have completed, or enrolled in the second course of Intermediate Accounting
• Enrolled full-time (12 hours or more)
• Be in good standing with the university
• Student must be majoring in accounting with career plans to include governmental, private, public, or educational accounting
• Student must demonstrate academic excellence
• Consideration should be given to a student who demonstrate exceptional potential but grades affected by work load or family commitments
• Recipient should maintain overall GPA of 3.0 GPA
• Preference given to a student whose parents are affiliated with Texas State University
