George P. Taylor Endowed Scholarship (ST5160)

The George P. Taylor Endowed Scholarship is a one-time award for students with outstanding academic credentials. This scholarship is a highly competitive award given to candidates with demonstrated financial need and are pursuing a major in the liberal or communicating arts.

Recipients of this award on average have an overall Texas State GPA of 3.5 or higher. To compete for this scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrated financial need
• Full-time enrollment at Texas State University
• Minimum 3.2 Texas State GPA
• Liberal Arts or Communication Arts major
• Candidates must not transfer more than 59 hours in the fall semester entering Texas State University to qualify.
