Heloise Bowles Memorial Scholarship (SB6573)

The Heloise Bowles Memorial Endowed Scholarship is available to undergraduate students currently enrolled at Texas State, and to entering freshman and transfer students. All applicants must major in Journalism and Mass Communication, or Mathematics. Entering freshman and transfer students must have met Texas State admission requirements and have been accepted to Texas State. Current Texas State students must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher and be enrolled a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. Applicants should demonstrate high academic ability through transcripts, and should demonstrate leadership, involvement, community service and/or employment experience through a resume. Students must demonstrate financial need through the application of a FAFSA to Texas State. The scholarship is awarded annually. Preference will be given to the students of current Family Association members. Students must re-apply for the scholarship every year, and must maintain full-time enrollment and a 2.5 GPA.
