David-Luke Henton and Terry Hernandez Pacheco Endowed Scholarship (SH5083)

This scholarship recognizes the long-term service of Mr. David-Luke Henton and Ms. Terry H. Pacheco to the School. Mr. Henton was a Clinical Assistant Professor and Field Program administrator. Ms. Pacheco was the School’s first Administrative Assistant. This scholarship is available to students in good standing accepted in the bachelor or master’s degree programs in the School of Social Work. This scholarship rotates between MSW and BSW students.

  • Applicant must show an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 (for BSW) or an undergraduate and/or graduate GPA of at least 3.0 (for MSW) as verified by official transcript provided by the SSW office
  • Applicant must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA for the duration of the scholarship as verified by the SSW office

    1. Intent to practice with underserved populations with social justice
    2. Two clearly articulated professional goals that addresses social justice and working with underserved populations
    3. Bilingual Spanish/English or working to be; you will be required to demonstrate your level of bilingual skills or becoming bilingual
