Don and Helen Cude Computer Science Endowed Scholarship (SC6059)

Purpose:
To honor Don Cude, alumnus and former mathematics professor and chairman at then Southwest Texas State University, and his wife, Helen Ebeling Cude, both of whom were public school teachers; to reward outstanding students in the fields of mathematics and computer science. This specific scholarship is for Computer Science students.

Criteria for selection:

• Computer Science major
• Must not have previously received an award from this endowment
• Priority to students teaching computer science teacher certification
• Full-time enrollment
• Good standing with the university
• 3.00 Texas State GPA or higher
• Awards will be made on the basis of academic merit, leadership, and intellectual promise
