The Barbara Melzer Scholarship (SM0011)
This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Barbara A. Melzer and highlights her commitment to excellence in clinical education. Dr. Melzer was an active member of the physical therapy profession for 38 years and served as a professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Department for 25 years. In honor of her lasting contributions, the Department of Physical Therapy at Texas State University will award at least one scholarship each year to third year physical therapy students in support of clinical education. Must be in good standing with the Dept. of PT and not on professional or academic probation.
