Student Government Scholarship (SA6007)
The Student Government Scholarship awards to students who prove to be academically responsible and represent Texas State positively through their involvement on or off campus. Undergraduate and Graduate students must meet certain requirements to be eligible to apply for the Student Government Scholarship: At the time of application, an undergraduate student must be classified as a sophomore, junior or senior; have completed two long semesters at Texas State; have earned a 2.50 Texas State GPA; be a full-time enrolled Texas State student; and be a member of a social or academic organization. At the time of application, a graduate student must be enrolled in at least 6 hours; have earned a minimum 3.00 Texas State GPA; and preference shall be given to a graduate student who is a member of an academic or social organization. Loans, scholarships and work study are forms of financial aid that applicants may be receiving. Students who are receiving need-based grants are not eligible to apply to this scholarship.
